What’s behind this Halloween party that delights kids big and all over the world? Where did you born? What are the consequences and implications for us?
1. A simple definition and superficial
“It’s a party that is done during the night of October 31st, consisting of people who dresses up in costumes, masks, and all kinds of clothing that has to do with figures allusive to death and terror.
It’s basically a costume party, where children grow by gifts from the houses, the community gathers to show off their best costumes, in short, an opportunity to gather with loved ones and all have a good time around a fiesta very striking. ”

“The origin of this festival, like many things in our environment, is an import from the United States, a party that has little to do with our culture, but that each year more forces are accentuated in our country. However, the nature of this event is not characteristic of a particular culture, but it is something that crosses borders, addressing issues that affect us all, as is death. ”
For all the people, this is the answer … simple and superficial. Psychologists and experts recommend holding this event, as they say is healthy as we face our own fears and makes us reflect on important issues such as death …
Do you want to know a bit more?
The truth is that many of the concepts discussed earlier are nothing but a false product of ignorance.
If you are not satisfied with the answer given by the common people, then see what is behind all this …
2 .- History, the origin of Halloween
Halloween is not a proper party in modern times originated in the United States, as many people believe. This is a celebration that is being done over 2,200 years ago.
2.1 .- The feast of Samhain
Halloween is nothing but the new name of a party that once was called “Samhain.”
This festival was created by the ancient Celts who occupied Gaul and the British Isles. The Celts, like all pagan people, had a very particular religion and belief. The religion of these was the “Druismo”, and his priests calling themselves “Druids” which had all the administrative and religious power over all his people, and its activity center Stonehenge for long.
In Druidic religion, they were accustomed to celebrate their pagan god Samhain, the night of October 31 of each year. That night was celebrated in religious terms, the “lord of death” (Samhain), since at this time began the winter, a cold, dark time. As was the start of the dark ages in this European region, this conclusion, besides being the Celtic New Year’s Eve marked the celebration of death and all the spirits of the dead, which were thought to returning to their former earthly homes . This was the time ripe for all kinds of spells, magic, fortune and all kinds of paranormal activity.
About the rituals performed, there is little precedent in this regard. But there are elements that are known, which have survived through time.
2.2 .- trick or treating (trick or treat)
The Druid priests went from house to house demanding food and virgin offering to his god Samhain festival death. If they are giving a deal was done (treat) and went in peace. If the people of the village did not give druids the food or person required, will cast a curse on the whole house and she said, someone from the family would die that year. That was the trap or trick (trick).
This is the origin of the tradition of requesting sweets by the house (“Trick or treat”). Before they were priests who had this job and now are children.
2.3 .- The arrival of the Romans
This cult was kept unchanged for a long time in the Celtic culture until 46 a. C., at which time the invasion of the Roman Empire.
The Romans, having conquered Britain, they added a “Samhain” (now “Halloween”) elements of the harvest festival on November 1 in honor of Pomona, goddess of fruits.
These two came together pagan celebrations, later added a new element: The Roman Catholic Christianity.
2.4 .- The feast of All Saints
Of these three elements are mixed (Druids, Romans and Catholics) was born on the feast that we know today as “All Saints Day”, on November 1 of each year, as established by Pope Gregory IV, the year 835, under the pretext of holding all the martyrs and saints of the Roman Catholic Church. The truth is that the policy of the Roman Christian Church at that time was to replace the pagan rites by Christians, with a mixture, to make all peoples under the empire continue with their old ways, and thus avoid a possible uprising .
Thus, the descendants of the Celts were able to continue celebrating the festival of “Samhain”, with a new name: “All Saints Day”, which in English translates as “All Hallows Day”.
In Britain and Ireland was held this party in the November 1, (“All Hallows Day”), but yesterday (October 31) was called “All Hallows Even”, which later was renamed in what we today know as Halloween.
Thus, Roman Catholics celebrated November 1 as a holy day, making things easier for the pagans held the previous day (October 31) to celebrate their god of death, Samhain.
2.5 .- From Europe to America.
This custom came to America after the emigration of the Irish about the year 1800, who introduced this celebration is popular in the U.S., and has already surpassed its borders.
There are several elements that unite the ancient Druid festival with the current Halloween. We saw where he was born the tradition of seeking candy for the neighborhood houses, we also have elements like figures carved pumpkin faces, which resemble the carved turnip with a candle inside the Druid priests carrying overnight .
3 .- Halloween and Satanists
Halloween today is one of the major holidays celebrated by Satanists, occultists, and devil worshipers like New Year’s Eve of witchcraft.
Anton Lavey, author of the “Satanic Bible”, said that three days is very important for all Satanist: April 30, his birthday and the most important day of all: Halloween. The satanic church assumes ownership of this date.
The important dates for the satanists are:
From 5 to September 30: Fast to seek the will of Satan.
September 27: Election of priests, confessors, written in the book to “the goat”
October 4: Ritual to curse the body of Christ.
From 15 to October 20: Meeting of the devotees to prepare Sanhaim day.
From 21 to October 25: Reflection, discipline, fasting and mantras.
October 26: Traditional Rites.
October 27: Confession of Sins against Satan.
October 28: Blessed are the members of satanic groups.
October 30: Rites of baptism.
October 31: Beginning of year satanic.
From 2 to November 9: Satanic weddings.
The members of the Church of Satan, must wear Halloween clothes on her birthday, among other festivities. Each time you wear Halloween clothes are participating in occult practices dedicated to Satan.
It is something that happens every year, every time we come to October 31, always in the news are reported deaths, disappearances and tragedies everywhere, rather than on any other date. This is no accident.
4 .- Halloween and Christians
Halloween is not just a harmless children’s costume party … this is what it seems, but a big fraud.
Satan the devil, never presented to us as it really is: a being awful. Be dressed as an angel of light, using your favorite technique: deception.
“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14)
Your children away from these things, do not let it contaminate or expose them to evil:
“No one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, or a spell, or a sorcerer or a charmer, or diviner, or magician, or who consults the dead. Is detestable to the Lord all who do these things … ”
(Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
Learn the lesson of Israel, when the whole village was warned by God because they started to follow the customs and holidays of other foreign nations:
“And ye shall know that I am the Lord, because you have not walked in my statutes, or you have obeyed my orders, but according to the customs of the nations who surround you have done.”
(Ezekiel 11:12)
Conclusion
Ultimately, the truth is that Halloween is a festival of religious – pagan, and anyone else involved in it with their costumes and candy, will be displeasing to God the Creator, and worship without knowing, the Lord of Death.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
(Hosea 4:6)
No sin of ignorance, taking many forms to inform you today, because you do not have to be killed because of the lack of knowledge.
